Program goals
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of the CBC Outlaws is to establish a welcoming and nurturing organization where local families and youth can thrive in their baseball journey. Our focus is to facilitate growth on the diamond by honing skills through dedicated practices, training at home, and competitive game experiences. We strive to be accessible to as many families as possible (financial, etc.), recognizing the importance of inclusivity and ensuring that every athlete in our academy has the opportunity to develop and flourish. By fostering a supportive environment, we are committed to helping young players reach their full potential and create lasting memories in their baseball endeavors.
We may not always get everything right, but we do hold ourselves to a very high standard. As a program we will only fail if we fail to learn and adapt. So as we embark on this journey, we know that compromising our primary objective is a non-starter.
Secondary Goals
-
Outlaws Teams
For the 2026 season, we will be fielding 12U, 13U, 14U, and 16U teams. Some of these age groups will be more focused on development over competition, but we will try to grow via competition as much as possible from practices to games.
-
Positive Team Focused Culture
Many things in society have become "me" focused vs. "we" or team. The Outlaws will focus on the team over the individual while expecting players to support one another and be a positive influence on one another.
-
Academy For Tomorrow
As a newer baseball club, there are many unknowns about what our future may hold. But we want the Outlaws to be a place that our youth can call home from the time they're 12 and 13 all the way through High School. We also strongly encourage our athletes to play other sports to the point that we do not even offer fall baseball.
