MAYBE... MAYBE NOT...
The fact of the matter is that we are building a new academy and developing our culture. Let’s review some scenarios where we think our program may be a good fit for you.
-
DEVELOPMENT FOCUSED
If you are looking for a program that will focus on development, the Outlaws may be a good fit for you. We plan on using our time in practices and games to help our members grow the most throughout the season. The majority of a player's development and growth throughout the season will occur during practices as well as time away from team activities.
-
FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY
Sticker shock is a common reaction for many families aging out of Little League who are looking into clubs/academies or other options for a future season. While we are not cheap compared to what many families may have paid for in prior seasons, our goal is to keep our program fees as accessible as possible for the Spring/Summer seasons. The more sponsors our program secures, the lower the fees will be for our members.
-
AM I GOOD ENOUGH?
The thought of trying out to join a baseball team can be incredibly stressful. Anyone who has signed up to play Little League knows going into it that they will end up on a team somewhere within the league. Academy or Club baseball is different. There are no rules that force teams to add you to their roster. While we do not want to deny anyone from joining our program, there will be skill based requirements for players to make our teams. Not everyone will make our teams. That being said, we also value character and attitude quite highly and so long as a player is demonstrating the desire and passion to play and learn, we may be a good home for them. This is why we are here. We want players to continue to be able to play the best sport in the world should they wish to play.

CURRENT ACADEMY/CLUB MEMBERS
Our program is entering it's second year and while competition is absolutely a part of development, it isn't the only part. Many local clubs do a phenominal job providing a highly competitive environment, we are striving to get there, but we're not there yet. There may be a scenario or two where change is perhaps a good option, but that is a big decision and should happen only after discussing and evaluating all available options.
-
Program Competitiveness & Winning
While we absolutely love competition and will seek it as often as possible, winning for us may not show up directly in the box score or standings. We are committed to developing everyone in our academy and growing on the field which means playing opportunities will be plentiful for all. Time on the bench throughout the season may not be consistent and there may be some members who rarely sit on the bnech, but everyone can expect to be given a chance to grow during practices and games throughout the season.

THE COMMITTMENT
We have ambitious and lofty goals for a new and growing program. We are hoping to get in close to 50 games (13U and older) a season with approximatley 60 practices from February through late July. Any member who commits to our organization must be able to make the majority of these events. Not doing so puts the team at a disadvantage in games and can negatively impact the teams ability to conduct a practice. That being said, if you are unsure that you can committ to the time, then we probably are not a good fit for you.
